INDUTEX S.A.C. LG4020 is a semi-flexible woven friction material manufactured with high-density fiberglass combined with select synthetic or organic fibers and reinforced brass wire. It is thoroughly impregnated with a proprietary blend of superior resins that maintain full operational capacity even under severe mechanical and thermal conditions.
It delivers a high coefficient of friction at both low and elevated temperatures. Highly resistant during operation in the presence of hydrocarbons, oils, and industrial greases, making it exceptionally reliable for mechanical presses, industrial clutches, winches, and heavy equipment.
| Feature | Technical Specification & Detail |
|---|---|
| Chemical Immunity | Superior resistance to continuous contact with lubricating oils, industrial greases, and hydrocarbon vapors. |
| Mating Surfaces | Engineered for optimal compatibility with forged steel and cast iron drums. |
| Stable Friction | High, stable friction coefficient (μ) across the entire operating temperature range without brake fade. |
| 100% Asbestos-Free | International operational safety certification, 100% free of asbestos and environmentally safe. |
Engineering guidelines to maximize the operational lifespan of the friction lining and brake drum.
The resin matrix will not soften or break down when exposed to oil or grease splatters, preserving firm, predictable stopping power.
Optimized for steel and cast iron. (Technical note: Not recommended for use against soft non-ferrous metals such as copper or aluminum).
Industrial eccentric presses, metal shears, heavy-duty industrial clutches, hoisting winches, and quarry equipment.
